This was my second visit for another foot surgery. The front desk ladies, Mary Ann and Erin were just as nice as my first visit. Totally welcoming and so helpful too! I must add they have the best personalities a person in pain wants to deal with. They were very nice to my husband as he waited for my surgery to be over. Facility was spotless! Anesthesiologist was the same person as before and she is excellent in every way. Big shout out to Raoul, the OR nurse! He is super kind, sweet, polite and totally makes you feel comfortable! Yes, this is the best place ever if you need surgery! Their kindness alone will heal you!
The only thing i remember is that it was ice cold in that building. I was offered 1 heated blanket. It took my body 3 hours to warm up at home. Staff was kind. DID NOT SEE DR. AFTER PROCEDURE. THATS UNPROFFIONAL.
First my prep nurse went through my vein in my hand when he was attempting to put in IV He then tried to put it in the back of my forearm and had to stop when I told him he was hurting me. He then told me that the anesthesiologist would put it in. This happened on 4/5/22. The black and blue mark on the back of my hand is still visible today 4/19/22. On 4/8/22 I went to Dr Vanni’s office to have my surgery wound checked. PA Alexa Nappi couldn’t check it because who ever dressed my wound did not wait for the surgical glue to dry before putting on the gauze So now the gauze is glued to the wound and still is today 4/19/22 even though the glue is supposed to dissolve

Everyone is real nice, especially the receptionist! She’s always so kind and sweet. Grace, my nurse was wonderful! I never had such a gentle IV insertion, and I’ve had almost 50 in my lifetime. I know she had a lot on her mind, all of the staff does BUT please take a minute to LISTEN to an old lady’s stories, not just act like you are. ( you make me feel stupid when you say “ uh huh, ohhhh! “ in the Middle of my sentence!) Some people only get out of their homes to grocery shop or to have surgery and we are lonely for human contact. Besides, you might learn a thing or two! 😉 I guess the only real complaint is the nurse in recovery. Zero personality and only interested in getting me out of there asap. I just woke up for goodness sake ! Gimme a second to catch my breath before shoving a snack at me and telling me to get dressed! I have a 62 mile drive and you rushed me so much it was painful. Compassion! Empathy! Care! Please!
