Thank you for choosing Specialty Surgical Center of North Brunswick, LLC. Here are a few helpful instructions to prepare for your procedure. Always follow your physician’s specific instructions, as they may vary.

Before Your Surgery

A nurse will contact you to review your health history and confirm your appointment.
If you prefer to call instead, reach our nurse at (732) 422-9900 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Notify your surgeon if you feel unwell or have a change in health.
Check with your surgeon about any medications, supplements, or blood thinners you’re taking.
Your surgeon may arrange any necessary tests or medical clearance.

The Night Before Surgery

Do not eat or drink anything 8 hours before your procedure.
Only take medications if instructed by your surgeon or our staff.
Remove all makeup, jewelry, and accessories.
Bathe or shower the night before or morning of surgery.
Bring cases for glasses, contacts, or dentures.
Arrange for a responsible adult to drive you to and from your appointment and stay with you for 24 hours after surgery.
